Alison Hammond's son Aidan is following in his mother's showbiz footsteps as he announced he has secured a huge new job. 

The 19-year-old, who is Alison's only child who she shares with her with ex husband Noureddine Boufaied, took to Instagram on Tuesday, to share the exciting news that he will be playing at his first ever festival as a DJ this summer.

Overjoyed at the news, Aidan shared a snap of him behind the decks, as he wrote: 'I AM PLAYING AT MY FIRST EVER FESTIVAL @campbestival.

'I will be playing on Saturday 27th of July in the Bollywood tent from 7-8pm so if you like house music get your tickets and come see me play big thanks to @campbestival.'

Aidan has a keen passion for music, after his mum proudly watched on as her son took to the DJ decks at a gig last November.

She shared a video of Aidan having the time of his life as he danced energetically while playing a remix of That's the Way (I Like It).

And Alison was every inch the proud mother as she stood beside the DJ decks and filmed as Aidan performed at an event.

Alongside the video, she gushed: 'Love my Son ! That little smile to the camera gets me every time.'

It seems Aidan is keen to pursue a career in music, not a million miles from his mother's successful career in television.

The exciting news comes after Alison shared a snap grinning from ear to ear as she cosied up to her new boyfriend, a 6ft 10in Russian masseur, David Putman. 

Alison is reportedly dating the model and dancer who is roughly 20 years her junior, following her split from landscape gardener Ben Hawkins last year.

Alison recently shared snaps of the pair together on social media including one where they had their arms wrapped around each other on a country walk.

David has shared some modelling shots on his own Instagram where Alison's This Morning co-star and close friend Josie Gibson is among his followers.

Alison hinted at their growing relationship back in November when she liked David's post documenting a recent trip to Dublin.

 David has family in Brighton and is also proud of his Russian heritage and has previously posed in national dress while competing in youth choirs.

A source told The Sun: 'Alison has never been happier. She has had a turbulent love-life, but is finally confident she has found a trusted companion. They looked just like honeymooners.' 

Last September, Alison hinted she has a new secret boyfriend after sharing a cryptic sex confession during Loose Women Live.

The presenter joined her fellow ITV Daytime hosts during their appearance at the London Palladium on Tuesday.

The panel was made up of Christine Lampard , Denise Welch , Brenda Edwards , Linda Robson and Janet Street-Porter.

During the show, Christine asked the panel: 'Who's having the most jiggy jigs?'

Alison then said: 'How's Birmingham doing? I reckon we're up there, I really do...'

She then cheekily added: 'Well I am.'
